Things that you need to know about the Women's T20 World Cup 2024

The Women's T20WC is looming large as the days tick by, the tournament that had to be shifted from Bangladesh to UAE due to political tensions in the country is set to begin on October 3.

Dubai & Sharjah will be the two venues hosting the World Cup. The Indian team will play their opening game of the T20 World Cup against New Zealand on October 4.

Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule

The tournament runs from October 3 to October 20 with 20 league games & 3 knockout matches. There are two groups comprising 5 teams each.

Group Stage: Teams have been divided into two groups comprising 5 teams each (Oct 3- 15) top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals.

Semi-finals: The knockout matches will be played on 17th & 18th October

Final Match: The grand final has been scheduled for the 20th of October
