Young Gun Musheer Credits Rahane for Ranji Trophy Heroics

Karnal's Musheer, who happened to be a remarkable player for Haryana not long ago while playing for the Ranji Trophy, has highly recommended his captain Ajinkya Rahane for leading a productive and promising team.

"Rahane bhai has been a source of my constant motivation throughout the World Cup," stated Musheer. "Through him, I learned quickness of mind, and in my pressure situations, I drew on the lessons I learned from him; he was an invaluable mentor."

"That Rahane bhai could deal with pressure during the matches was truly so amazing," Musheer said. "He put some faith in us, and then that inspired us to work harder."

Musheer Khan thanked Ajinkya Rahane for helping him out after Mumbai beat Vidarbha by 169 runs in the Ranji Trophy 2024 final played at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Musheer fell for only a few runs in the first innings at the hand of Harsh Dubey. But the youth got up to the mark in the 2nd innings, making 136 runs off 326 balls with 10 fours.

"I feel proud to play along with some of the great players in Mumbai. But I don't want to think ahead, I want to focus on the present," he added.
