West Indies have announced a 15-member squad for their upcoming test tour of England beginning in July.
West Indies have given a chance to Mikyle Louis who is an U19 player in the upcoming 3-match test tour of England.
The 15-member squad will be captained by Kraigg Brathwaite, and fast Bowler Alzarri Joseph will be the vice-captain of the side.
Mikyle Louis has got the reward, for scoring big in the domestic circuit scoring 682 runs in the debut first-class season.
In positive news for West Indies, their 2 big guns make a return to the squad. Fast bowler Jayden Seales is back in the squad after missing the previous tour of Australia due to Injury. The All-rounder Jason Holder is also back after making himself unavailable in the last tour, Holder is currently injured and ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2024 which is a home World Cup for the West Indies.

Meanwhile, young Fast Bowler Isai Thorne will be traveling with the squad as a development player. The young fast bowler impressed the selectors by scalping 31 wickets in his debut first-class season.
"The squad looks good with the mix of youth and there is the experience in the side as well, this gives the team a great balance, and it keeps us in good shape for the England tests. " CWI chief selector Desmond Haynes stated.
"In the last few years, our red ball cricket has seen a significant rise, with the victory we got against Australia in the last test, showing that we are reaping the rewards for our hard work, all these players who are playing in the side and have earned their spots we are confident and raring to perform against England in England".
