Gambhir signs with the KKR As Mentor In IPL 2024

Gautam Gambhir landed at Kolkata’s airport on March 14th, 2024, just ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Now, after that, the former Indian batsman is KKR mentor for this upcoming IPL season. Kolkata Knight Riders uploaded a video on their Instagram broadcasting account which featured Gambhir with the team management staff.

• Before the 2024 IPL, Gautam Gambhir signed with KKR.
• Before this, Gambhir rejoined KKR as their mentor.
• KKR won the IPL 2012 and 2014 under the guidance of Gambhir

He said "This is as close to international cricket as to any other league and if you want people to know you there, you should be able to perform on the cricket field".

Gambhir said I made sure, on Day 1, that IPL for me is real cricket. It's not about Bollywood, it's not about you, it's not about party, and so on. It’s about competitive cricket that indeed is what makes The IPL ‘The Toughest League in the World’. In other words, it’s proper cricket and hence it’s the toughest league in the world.
