Punjab Kings squad left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar recently talked about target areas when sent to bowl against world-famous batsmen in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, the next over bowled by Harpreet in the slog over phase was the awakening moment and he turned things around with two brilliant balls of his entire spell.
"It was a good wicket, and even Rahul bowled so well. For the last six years, I have been playing so my self-confidence has been for a long time high. Associating with these phenomenal characters( of the game) is now normal, I just bowl to my strengths. To be fair, all I want from the wickets is keeping bowling numerous dot balls and my dots create wickets. Suppose wicket is rotating, through this, a bowler's self-confidence is boosted and it is quite helpful,".
Together, the two spinners produced a potent spell of 4/33 in 8 overs. In ten matches Harpreet has taken 10 wickets overall at an economy of 7.21
Harpreet's contributions were crucial to PBKS's sixth IPL victory over CSK at Chepauk. They tied the cash-rich league's record for most victories versus CSK at Chepauk with the five-time champion Mumbai Indians.
