Oldest Players To Feature In T20 World Cup 2024

2. Mohammad Nabi( Afghanistan)- 39 Years

As the Afghani fans call him the ' President' Nabi is the second oldest player to feature in T20 World Cup 2024. Till now he has played a crucial role in Afghanistan's two wins in this edition.

3. Mahmudullah Riyad( Bangladesh)- 38 years

Veteran Bangladeshi all-rounder Mahmudullah comes third on the list for being the oldest player to feature in T20 World Cup 2024. Riyad has been prominent for Bangladesh in the last decade or so.

4. Rohit Sharma (India)- 37 years

Indian captain Rohit Sharma comes 4th on the list of being oldest player in the T20 World Cup 2024. Sharma was very much there when the Men in Blue lifted the title in 2007. This is his ninth edition of the T20 World Cup.

5. Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka)-36 years

Veteran Sri Lankan all-rounder has been in the Sri Lankan and International circuit for more than a decade now, he has played in almost every ICC tournament in which Sri Lanka has played. Mathews becomes the fifth player to be the oldest player to feature in T20 World Cup 2024.

6. Moeen Ali (England)-36 years

Moeen Munir Ali was a late bloomer for England in International Cricket, however,. he has done enough to hold onto his place in the side, Moeen has played every ICC tournament for England since the 2014 T20 World Cup. Moeen Features at the sixth spot for being the oldest player to feature in T20 World Cup 2024.

7. Matthew Wade (Australia)-36 years

The first Australian to feature in this list of oldest players in T20 World Cup 2024, is Matthew Wade, the keeper batter is famous for hitting Shaheen Shah Afridi for 3 sixes which helped Australia to reach the final in the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup in 2021. Australia was the eventual champions of the tournament.

8. Andre Russell (West Indies)-35 years

'Dre Russ' as they call him features eighth on our list to be the oldest player in T20 World Cup 2024, Andre Russell is a veteran player for the Windies now he has represented the West Indies in almost every T20 World Cup.

9. Virat Kohli (India)-35 years

Not many would like the term 'old' with Virat Kohli but it is what it is, Kohli barring the 2007 T20 World Cup, he has played in every T20 World Cup so far. which makes him feature at the ninth position, to be the oldest player in the T20 World Cup 2024.

10. Tim Southee (New Zealand)- 35 Years

The Kiwi fast bowler has been aging like a fine wine he has played in almost every ICC tournament for New Zealand in the last 10 years or so which makes him feature at the tenth position, to be the oldest player in T20 World Cup 2024.
