On the short turn of the few days there has risen a young batsman from the state of Punjab, whose name is Shashank Singh. Once he achieved match-winning score for PBKS and defeated GT, he got the first wave of fame, just before second embarrassing incident, involving him and auction mix-up.

He got stuck in the bidding war between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and PBKS where he was sold at a very low price. For a movie he had the feeling that for a while, he had been sold, while the Auctioner had actually thought that he had won him.
