Azam Khan, a cricket player for Pakistan, received a lot of backlash on social media when a video of him wiping perspiration off with foreign cash notes went viral. The Pakistan cricket team and its players don't always manage to avoid controversy, and these kinds of incidents highlight why.
The footage showed Pakistan captain Babar Azam making fun of Azam Khan as he wiped perspiration from his brow. Social media users found it difficult to accept Pakistani cricket players' inconsiderate behavior.
"Abba, kya hua hai?" is what Babar could be heard asking Azam in the video. Garmi hai? What took place? Is it warm outside?" Khan then seems to be wiping his perspiration with British money notes after saying, "Bahot zyada garmi hai (it's too hot)". Azam's conduct caused Babar and other people to laugh aloud. Many people have called the video "shameless" on social media.
@wwasay @Rizzvi73 what is this behavior of Pakistani cricketers?

People in Pakistan are craving for daily needs of roti and cricketers are shamelessly posting such videos. https://t.co/298JYtJDON
Pakistani, awam, like you are really a bunch of insensitive jerks. People are dying due to food shortage in Pakistan, and this guy, instead of donating money to them, is paying for interet wifi and expensive mobile while sitting under a roof and mocking poor people. https://t.co/rU1Thdfiai

"This is the reason we are constantly saying that basic education is essential; these people travel the world but never learn the fundamentals of humanity." Before sending them to an international platform, please send them to school, a social media user commented.
Another response said, "This guy is paying for internet wifi and an expensive mobile while sitting under a roof and mocking poor people. People are dying due to food shortage in Pakistan. Instead of donating money to them."
"With the exception of an extremely small number in Pakistan's athletic history, none has the charm, effect, or influence of any kind nothing to which a young child may aspire. The lot we have right now is really hopeless," someone tweeted.
