The hero of the Delhi Capitals, all-rounder Axar Patel, brought an angry one-handed catch to his own need, which got Mumbai Indians opener Ishan Kishan back in the pavilion of Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium game during the ongoing IPL 2024 match on Sunday.
Sharing a flair for attractive shots, Ishan missed one at his attempt that sailed to Axar who was fielding at long on and taking a sharp catch to end the Mumbai opener innings with 42 runs off 23 balls.

Romario Shepherd scythed 32 runs (4,6,6,6,4,6) off the 20th over of Anrich Nortje and the Mumbai Indians' battery stepped up as they posted an intimidating total of 234 for 5 against Delhi Capitals in an IPL game on Sunday.
At the end of the day, Nortje could muster only 2 wickets for 65 runs off 4 overs. Ishant Sharma, I am sure it's his last IPL season is looking a pale shadow of his own very old self, being taken for 40 in 4 overs.
