As he arrived at the Dharamsala press conference on the day of the fifth Test match between India and England, skipper Rohit Sharma was in no mood to strike down at media. When asked about England's batter's Ben Duckett's remark that the visiting team should be given credit for Yashasvi Jaiswal's attacking skills, Rohit sent a sharp warning to everyone to remember Rishabh Pant. After hitting hard comments during the Wednesday press conference, Rohit did not hold back when he said to the England team—particularly to Ben Duckett —that it is likely they have not seen Rishabh Pant bat.

There was a guy called Rishabh Pant in our team, probably Ben Duckett hasn't seen him play.
~Rohit said when asked about the comment made by the England batter

Duckett's absurd comments -

Yashasvi Jaiswal has smashed 655 runs at an average of 94.57 and a strike rate of 78.63 in 4 matches thus far in the series, making him the leading scorer for India. After witnessing the youthful Indian batsman smashing boundaries in the Rajkot Test, Duckett had proposed that Jaiswal's style of play in this series has been largely influenced by the England team's 'Bazball' style of play.

When you see players from the opposition playing like that, it almost feels like we should take some credit that they're playing differently than how other people play Test cricket.

Even former captain of England criticized his comments -

Nasser-Hussain

Not just Rohit thought Duckett's remark was inappropriate. Nasser Hussain, the former captain of England, had earlier criticized the player for his comments.

He's not learned from you. He's learned from his upbringing, all the hard yards he had to put in growing up. If anything, lads, look at him and learn from him. I hope there's a little bit of self-introspection going on. Otherwise, it becomes a cult - and, at times, Bazball and this regime has been described as such, where you cannot criticize within or externally.
