Adam Griffith Joins Australia As Pace Bowling Coach

Adam Griffith has been roped in as the fast bowling coach of the Australia Men's cricket team, his responsibility will be to nurture and prepare upcoming fast bowlers in the country, a CA release stated.

Griffith takes up the Cricket Australia role from his current position as assistant coach of Victoria. He will now be based out of the National Cricket Centre of Australia in Brisbane and will be involved in working closely with the senior Australia team and 'A' team to develop the future gen of pace bowlers and to develop a proper strategy for the same.

"I'm all excited to work with Adam, he has plenty of knowledge and experience, his expertise will be beneficial for Cricket Australia, his experience is invaluable for us in all formats if the game in the pursuit of shaping the future gen of Aussie Bowlers ," said Andrew McDonald, head coach of Australia's senior men's team.

Griffith has plenty of coaching experience at an elite level. He served as Senior Assistant Coach of Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers, Tasmania's Director of Coaching, Head Coach of the Tasmania Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes. Until the recent IPL 2024 season, he served as Assistant Coach (bowling) for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

At the international level, Griffith has previously worked with the Australian team on Bilateral tours in 2012, 2016 & in the 2019 Men's Cricket World Cup in England
