The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has categorically denied accusations of action against followers who will boo or taunt Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya during the IPL 2024 match against the Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday, April 1.

Earlier, Lokmat Times stated that MCA will increase security and monitor the audience throughout the event at the stadium. If anyone is spotted booing or jeering, Hardik Pandya will be expelled from the stadium.

Since taking over as captain of the Mumbai Indians from Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya has faced vicious criticism. The spectators in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad booed the 30-year-old all-rounder throughout the match.
