IPL 2024 is approaching and the festival will begin on 23rd March and ends on 29th May. This is the 17th season of IPL and we have seen some big auction numbers this time which broke all the previous records, Mitchell Starc was bought by KKR for Rs 24.75 cr., and the Australian World Cup winning captain by bought by SRH for Rs 20.50 cr.

Virat Kohli will be the top contender for the orange cap. He has been in his top-notch form in the white ball format. He was the highest run-scorer (765 runs) in the World Cup 2023 and shattered all the previous records of the God of Cricket - Sachin Tendulkar.
Rohit Sharma was in exceptional form in the World Cup where he dominated the bowlers and almost crunched their confidence. He is the best 'hitter' of the present Indian team and no one can be even close to him in terms of hitting and pull shots. He will not captain MI this time as the management wants to lower the pressure since he is also the captain of the Indian team. Hardik Pandya will take the lead as he successfully managed the captainship of Gujarat Titans won the first title for them and also entered the finals for the second time in 2023.
He is also one of the best players alive in the history of white ball format. His most remarkable feat was when he played a knock of 201 runs against Afghanistan in the World Cup 2023 and led the team to the victory lane when the team was down at 7 for 91 runs.
