The five-match T20 International series will take place in Harare, Zimbabwe from July 6–14, according to an announcement on Tuesday from Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Following the conclusion of the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which will be held from June 1–29, this bilateral series will start.

The main goal of the series, according to a statement from Zimbabwe Cricket, is to strengthen bilateral connections and promote cooperation between the two cricketing bodies.

We are thrilled to be hosting India for a T20I series in July in what will be our biggest international attraction at home this year.
The game of cricket has always immensely benefited from India’s influence and dedication to the sport, and I would like to say a huge thank you to the BCCI for committing to tour Zimbabwe once again.
